Job description
Client is an investment and holding company in the retail and consumer finance industry. They pride themselves on delivering value to the African consumer. The office is based in Sandton (hybrid working model). The role will require the candidate to develop and maintain data infrastructure, optimise ETL processes, ensure data quality and accessibility, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insightful analytics for the business.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
* Experience developing SQL (SAS data studio and AWS experience)
* Proficient in Python/ willing to learn
* Experienced at designing and developing ETL processes.
* Experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift)
* Excellent problem-solving and communication will be beneficial for the role.
* Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer)
