As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be the technical lead for our Finance data hub, expanding and optimizing our data architecture to support Allianz's accounting initiatives. You'll work closely with architects, BI analysts, IT experts, and data scientists to deliver seamless data solutions across the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

 

Lead Data Initiatives: Manage Data Warehouse Solutions for the Finance domain, aligning with business processes to support actuarial and accounting needs. Optimize Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines using the latest technologies. Drive Process Improvements: Automate workflows and enhance data delivery and consumption. Model Data Effectively: Implement data models using Data Vault 2.0, Star schema, and more. Ensure Data Security: Maintain data security and manage data inventory across departments. Champion Governance: Lead efforts in data governance, quality, and security.

 

About You:

 

Proven Experience: You have a track record in leading data product teams, ideally in Finance departments of large organizations. Technical Skills: You're skilled in Datawarehouse tools like Snowflake and DataVault 2.0 methodology. Big Data Expertise: You excel in building and optimizing big data pipelines and architectures. ETL/ELT Proficiency: You're familiar with tools like DBT, WhereScape, and SQLDbM. Cloud Savvy: You have experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP. Strong Communicator: You're fluent in English, with Dutch and French as a plus. Agile Mindset: You're comfortable working in agile environments.
