Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience in data engineering, specializing in cloud data warehousing solutions like Snowflake and orchestration tools like Dagster. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in architecting scalable data pipelines, data modeling, and integrating data from various marketing platforms. They should be proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving data strategy, and have a proven track record of establishing data engineering best practices.
What You’ll Do
Lead the establishment of our data engineering practice, setting standards and best practices.Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.Migrate existing data infrastructure to Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.Implement and manage data orchestration workflows using tools like Dagster.Integrate data from various marketing data sources, including funnel.io, into our data warehouse.Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.Ensure data quality, integrity, lineage, and security across all data pipelines.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers.Work closely with the analytics team to support data visualization efforts in Qlik Sense.Stay updated with the latest industry trends in data engineering and propose innovative solutions.What You Bring
7+ years of experience in data engineering roles.Strong expertise in cloud data warehousing solutions, particularly Snowflake.Experience with data orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow, or similar.Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and building scalable data pipelines.Strong programming skills in SQL and Python.Familiarity with data visualization tools, preferably Qlik Sense.Proven ability to lead and mentor junior data engineers.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.What You’ll Get

This role requires two in-office days per week, with three days in-office during the three-month orientation period. Remote work is not available for this position.
