Senior Data Governance Business Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Senior Business Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving the adoption and integration of data assets from legacy systems and applications into our enterprise data catalog. This role requires the ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements, from use case development through design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enterprise Data Catalog Enablement: Promote the adoption and integration of data assets from legacy systems and applications into the enterprise data catalog

- Requirements Translation: Convert business needs into detailed and comprehensive requirements, guiding projects from initial use cases to final design and implementation.

- Quality Assurance and Validation: Ensure the accuracy and quality of data assets, collaborating with security and compliance teams to meet all regulatory and security standards.

- Incident Response Management: Work with Cybersecurity and GCO teams to manage and remediate EDG incidents effectively.

Qualifications:

- Degree or 5+ years’ experience required

- Proven experience in data management, data cataloging, or related fields

Additional Skills and Qualifications

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security standards

- Experience with legacy systems and applications is a plus

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$96,600 - $161,000
