The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Human Resources (HR) organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Science and Business Intelligence Analyst to join the BCA Human Resources Operations team in Renton, WA or North Charleston, SC. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 4 and Level 5 specialists to find the best fit for this position.
The selected candidate will be responsible for advancing our capabilities in diagnostic and predictive analytics to inform business strategy. They will also work on optimizing data flow and collection processes within BCA, specifically in the areas of workforce staffing, planning, and organizational efficiency.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem solving
Analyze and provide meaningful business intelligence based on data, metrics and trends to influence business strategy and performance
Leverage existing data sources as well as mining for new and better sources to link business objectives with people analytics
Responsible for designing Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives
Assess current technology for best fit, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes with a high level of quality assurance
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and program business requirements
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using standard technologies
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability and enhance data driven decisions
Plan, organize, schedule, and execute projects
Create concise visuals to explain complex data science forecasting and predictions
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools
3+ years of experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation
3+ years of experience using SQL
Experience with database design, data modeling, or object modeling
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience
10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience building intuitive and actionable dashboards and data visualizations that drive business decisions
Experience demonstrating innovative solutions
Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against business priorities to ensure high quality outcomes
Mastery in Excel and Tableau

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $112,200 - $162,150
Summary pay range Senior (Level 5): $129,200 - $187,450
