Contributions

We are looking for seasoned Senior Data Scientist to work with our existing team of Data Architects and Developers to develop strategies, create ML/AI solutions, and deliver results. We are looking for a more than just a "Data Scientist", but a technologist with excellent communication and customer service skills and a passion for data and problem solving.

Experience modeling on structured and unstructured data setsExperience with exploratory data analysisExperience in feature engineeringExperience in data visualizationExperience with Deep Learning methodology and state of the art librariesKnowledge of data collection methods, capabilities, and tasking processAbility to leverage multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisionsSupport an Agile software development lifecycleYou will contribute to the growth of our Data Exploitation Practice! Qualifications

 

Ability to hold a position of public trust with the US government.2-4 years industry experience developing ML/AI solutions and a passion for solving complex problems.2-4 years direct experience in Data Modeling and Data Solution Development1+ year performing queue modeling and survival analysisBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a scientific or technical disciplineDemonstrated experience manipulating structured and unstructured data for analysisStrong programming skills in SQL, Python, R, Scala, Java, or similar languageExperience using Python to manipulate large data setsExperience with DevSecOps, as it applies to data scienceDemonstrated experience with TensorFlow, Keras, or other Deep Learning tools and frameworksDemonstrated experience in big data systems including Hadoop, Spark, ScalaData visualization skills in Tableau, Power BI, D3, ArcGIS, or similarExperience with Git, Bash, Unix commandsExperience in Cloud analytics (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with tools such as AWS SageMaker, Azure HDInsight, etc.Familiarity with Flask is a plusKnowledge of DBOps and MLOps framework is a plusExperience with Solr, Elasticsearch, or similar tool is a plus About steampunk

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $190,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
