What you'll do...

Position: Senior Data Scientist

Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066

Duties: Build end-to-end market intelligence solutions to drive business growth, including designing metric estimation algorithm, building dashboards, and creating executive reports. Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights to measure performance against competition and inform business growth opportunities. Research and implement advanced statistical models and machines learning algorithms on structured and unstructured data to support decision-making. Guide projects and communicate insights to stakeholders through executive reports. Design and develop interactive dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Design and develop Python pipelines to automate metric reporting process. Build time-series forecasting models with deep machine learning and deep learning techniques to predict business metrics with Python. Maintain data processing pipelines and conduct exploratory data analysis with SQL and Python. Ensure data quality and integrity by performing validation checks and verifying the accuracy of results.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or related field and 1 year of experience in an analytics related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or related field and 3 years of experience in an analytics related field.

Skills required: Experience coding in object-oriented language Python. Experience creating data visualizations with Tableau. Experience conducting big data analysis using SQL and Hive. Experience applying statistical techniques including time series analysis and regressions to analyze and predict business metrics. Experience managing projects using Jira. Experience conducting version control using version control system Git. Experience manipulating and analyzing data with scientific computing and analysis packages including Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-Learn. Experience building machine learning/deep learning models using Python. Experience testing, detecting, and correcting data anomalies and automating the trouble shooting process with SQL and Python. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $168,110/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.   Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
