**Your job** The Hired Signal team’s mission is to measure and analyze how and when jobseekers get hired on Indeed. We are a team of data scientists and engineers with years of experience helping Indeed learn when our products are delivering on our promise and primary business goals. We leverage this data and advanced Machine Learning (ML) techniques to innovate in this area and push the boundaries of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Indeed. The metrics that we own are used across every business unit in the company as a primary measure of success. On a daily basis you will explore data and formulate problem statements, develop and deploy predictive models while monitoring them in production, collaborate with cross-functional teams running A/B tests on Indeed’s products, and stay updated with the latest advancements in the field. **Who you are** + Build highly scalable and performant machine learning systems and technologies that can identify when jobseekers got hired from petabytes of data representing millions of jobseekers + Experiment with Proof of Concept Machine Learning (POC ML) model improvements, scale them to production, and run iterative A/B experiments to improve our matching technology + Break down larger business initiatives into pieces that leverage the right technologies and ML platform to deliver incremental business value and implement them + Partner closely with senior leaders across Indeed as they look to measure and improve how our products help people get jobs + Provide your thoughts, guidance, and enthusiasm for problem solving and data discovery to your team of experienced data scientists and engineers **Who we are** + Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields + 3+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Machine Learning Engineer + Programming experience in Python and querying data on distributed systems (i.e. Spark, AWS Athena, etc.) + Prior success deploying impactful Machine Learning solutions to large-scale production systems + Practical understanding of experimental design (i.e. A/B testing, clinical trials, etc.) + Excellent written and verbal communication in English, effective with both technical and non-technical audiences + Knowledge and hands-on experience working on Supervised ML Libraries (like skLearn, SciPy) as well as Deep Learning Libraries (like Torch, Tensorflow, etc.) **Our mission** As the world’s number 1 job site*, our mission is to help people get jobs.
