The DCIS Strategy & Data team is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to provide deep, data-driven insights into datacenter operations processes and systems that will inform strategy in key areas. Ideal candidates will have technical skill, business domain knowledge, and the ability to explain findings and concepts in plain language to a variety of business stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Domain knowledge of datacenter operations, server repair, IT, and/or shop floor processes, and experience mining these processes to produce insights is preferred. + Familiarity with deep learning frameworks, e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc., is a plus. + Experience on large scale computing systems like COSMOS, Hadoop, MapReduce and/or similar systems preferred. + Experience with working in cloud-based data science, database, big data processing, and reporting tools – preferably on Azure (Azure ML, Power BI, Azure Data Explorer/KQL, Synapse, Databricks, etc; Experience working in an Agile/Scrum SDLC, preferably using Azure DevOps and GitHub. Data Science IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
