About this opportunity:
The Senior Data Specialist will play a critical role in managing, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to deliver actionable insights for the organization. This position involves data modeling, reporting, data governance, and implementing data-driven strategies to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience in leading project management.

What you will do:
1.    Data Analysis and Reporting
•    Design and develop complex data models, dashboards, and reports MFS professional services.
•    Analyse structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
•    Deliver actionable recommendations to improve and evelove the delivery processes.

2.    Data Management and Governance
•    Oversee data management processes, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with organizational standards.
•    Govern the delivery processes and identify improvement areas.

3.    Collaboration and Communication
•    Partner with cross-functional teams, including ADM, Common functionalities, operations and release management to deliver data solutions.
•    Act as a subject matter expert on data-related projects and mentor junior project management professionals.
•    Present data-driven insights to stakeholders and senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.

4.    Technical Proficiency
•    Utilize cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for scalable data management.
•    Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence.

The skills you bring:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
•    15+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a similar role.
•    Proficiency in excel, BI analytics,  or other data analysis tools.
•    Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) and ETL pipelines.
•    Strong understanding of data governance, data warehousing concepts, and data quality frameworks.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data scenarios.
•    Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
