Database Administrator Senior:
· Working independently within guidelines, leads the design and implementation of complex logical data models and practices for data capture, data dictionary design and overall data integrity
· Directs quality control and auditing to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data
· Works with other subject matter experts to develop data storage strategies to support company needs
· Enforces data definition standards, architectures and policies
· Administers and manages data definitions within data repository
· Designs and provides support of data modeling for mainframe, client server, or web systems development
· Maintains data dictionaries and resolves problems
· Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise
· A high proficiency level in specific job related skills is required.
· A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
· A Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is preferred.
Oracle / SQL Server DBA:
· Oracle database administrator with 5 plus years of experience
· The Database Administrator will provide support for Oracle (Install, Upgrades, Patches, Backups, Structure changes, Performance Tuning, Capacity Planning, etc.)
· Should be knowledgeable about the new features in the latest release of Database software
· Proactively monitors the database systems to ensure minimum downtime
· Responsible for supporting the databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security
· This includes ongoing production support and on call night, weekend, and holiday support coverage
· Responsible for maintenance of the database including system upgrades and software patch testing and implementation
· Creation and Monitoring of system performance and diagnostics
· Assists programmers with complex queries and has the ability to tune queries to optimize performance
· Migrate application programs and related systems to production and non-production environments
· Assists project teams in identifying requirements and cost implications
· Customer focused and strong team oriented

· Ability to multi-task and work alone (self-starter)
· Candidates should be able to work independently under tight deadlines with changing goals and priorities
· Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills

· Tuning queries
· PL/SQL Programming / Best Practices
· Unix Shell scripting
· SQL Server experience a plus
Must Have:
· Extensive experience in RMAN and Enterprise manager grid control
Nice To Have:
· DBA experience with multiple database system (SYBASE, SQL Server)
Additional Information:
DBA may potentially work in any of these DBMSs in the future (SYBASE, SQL Server) along with Oracle.
