Description We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in SQL and automation to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. In this role, you will manage and maintain the integrity, performance, and security of our database systems. Key Responsibilities: + Administer, optimize, and manage SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance. + Develop and maintain automated scripts for database management tasks (e.g., backups, migrations, health checks). + Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database architectures. + Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. + Perform database tuning and optimization for query performance. + Implement database security measures and ensure data integrity. + Manage database replication, clustering, and high availability setups. + Provide support for database upgrades, patches, and migrations. + Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and automation. + Stay updated with the latest database technologies and industry best practices. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). + Extensive experience with SQL Server administration and optimization. + Strong knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery techniques. + Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation. + Proven experience in designing and maintaining high-performance, scalable database architectures. + Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL) is a plus. + Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Strong communication and collaboration skills. + Ability to work onsite in Boca Raton, FL.
