JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Database Marketing Coordinator role involves responsibility for creative, data and execution components of multiple direct mail and email projects including advertising for promotions, events, gaming, dining, and hotel offers. The role requires fast-paced project management throughout the lifecycle of the campaign, from creation through delivery to the guests. Each project will begin with a pre-formulated strategy, and the Coordinator will receive all details needed to set up offer segmentation, query criteria and set up execution rules. The Coordinator will own each step of the project once it has been assigned, including routing to reviewers and approvers, vendor interaction, proofing and all inquiries and notifications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Involved in the development and execution of effective marketing programs targeted to existing & new customers, including all customers and potential customers of Harrah's Ak-Chin. Creates offers to improve customer profitability through increased visitation and incremental play. Runs various internal software programs to understand the database of customers and to target specific customer segments. Utilizes Microsoft Excel and Access to develop complex offers including mystery and multi-choice offers based on advanced queries and randomization. Sets up test and control segments within offers to facilitate analysis of program success. Manages relationships with print vendors to ensure production stays on time and is processed accurately. Interfaces with the corporate direct mail, loyalty marketing and internet teams on offer setup, analysis and special projects. Responsible for proofing direct mail, email, mobile, and web channels to ensure the correct offers are being sent to the right group of customers. Coordinates direct mail and email collateral reviews with internal stakeholders. Processes all redemptions after each promotion, event, gaming, dining, or hotel offer has concluded. Researches all offer related issues requested from both internal and external parties. Responds to customer questions regarding account information and offers via telephone and e-mail. Measures and reviews performance against annual business plan and its key priorities. Periodic review of results and ad-hoc analyses to highlight areas of concern through database querying software. Able to maintain composure in a fast-paced fluid environment. Team Lead when it comes to pulling all data and researching guest issues. Responsible for tracking all Direct Mail expenses and works with print vendors to resolve all purchase order issues. Submits all purchase orders for Direct Mail. Serves as first resource for all junior positions in the department. Acts as main point of contact for onboarding new systems/programs/procedures. Works with department trainer to facilitate new hire training. Responsible to manage Direct Mail team and keep projects on time when manager is unavailable.ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES:
Conducts analysis of tests and offer success as requested. Serves as the Super User for new systems implemented by corporate. Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same. Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Advanced degree in Marketing, Business/Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Statistics or other technical field preferred. 5+ years’ experience in managing data driven-marketing campaigns is preferred.QUALIFICATIONS:
