Responsibilities:
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Experience in active-duty military service, support contractor and/or DoD civilian in a warfare specialty at progressively more difficult levels in planning, developing and executing technical projects of a research and development (R&D) natureConcerned with unique or controversial problems which have an important effect on major Department of Defense programs.Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning and conducting research studies combining operational expertise with novel technology approaches and sophisticated research techniques to assess military effectiveness and engineering viability. Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in technological programs, preferably one that has transitioned to operational use, or programs related to thrust areas delineated in the PWS.Qualifications:
Required:
At least fifteen years’ experience.Experience in one of the following: air, land, space, naval surface warfare, tactical intelligence, special operations, wargaming and electronic warfareDesired:
At least seven years extensive experience, background and knowledge of program transition efforts is highly desirable. Joint/COCOM staff experience highly desirable. Experience supporting the OSD and/or DARPA highly desirable.Education:
Master’s in relevant fieldPhD preferredSecurity Clearance
Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI). Subject to Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.#LI-Onsite
