Department OverviewOperations/Supply Chain team that supports multiple sites within the MSI ecosystem. Strong team-oriented culture, dealing with supply chain activities from
ordering to shipment.
This role will support a North American customer base requiring the candidate to work second shift.
Job Description

What you will get to do:

Plan material to Drive shipsets/sales orders to First Scheduled Ship Date (FSSD/on time delivery) while meeting customer request dates

Understand revenue risks and be able to communicate risk & recovery actions

Develop and Drive planning for material allocation decisions

Proactively communicate any constraints to Supply Chain leadership and Sales for sales orders, large forecasted orders, general forecast and safety stocks 

Predict future delinquent backlog to identify actions to help drive improved FSSD performance

Plan and ensure proper tradeoffs between ocean and air deliveries

Use data analytics to ensure efficient decision making

Collaborate with Supply Planning and Product teams to resolve issues for long lead-time, discontinued or problem products


Basic Requirements

What we expect:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain or similar

3-5 years work experience related to Material Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Distribution Planning, Operations, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Transportation or similar operational experience or employment within MSI.

Familiarity with Oracle ERP system and G-suite applications a plus.

Availability to accommodate US working hours
