Senior Demand Planning Analyst

The Senior Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for various analytical and transactional activities in demand planning and special projects to support the overall initiatives for the USCA supply chain team.  The incumbent will impact the business by identifying opportunities for forecasting and demand management improvement through the use of data analytics.   

Key Responsibilities:

Provide analytical, technical, and operational support to the demand manager on the USCA supply chain team.Oversee and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) as assigned to support SBU initiatives. Participate and develop supply chain process improvement activities.Perform ad hoc analysis around various demand management initiatives.Utilize SBU software to project sales history and customer information into a SKU forecast by warehouse location to enable product manufacturing according to net requirements.Support customer facing activities around large orders or special projects.Complete other duties as requested from the Business Unit Leadership to support business objectives.Support the demand manager in the S&OP / IBP process, identifying and implementing continuous improvements Ensure that accurate forecasting system parameters are set to deliver expected results.Maintain various databases to provide information to individual accounts and update SBU Software and Scorecards.Support various projects to reduce working capital and improve forecast accuracy.

 

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or operations is required.Familiar with logistics, transportation, inventory, and supply chain terminology.Strong Microsoft Excel skills and Business Intelligence reporting tools.  Experience with SAP is plus. The incumbent needs interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills to successfully interact with management, clients, and vendors.
