Senior Depositary Analyst
Who we are looking for

The major focus of this role is to execute various Depositary controls delivered from Poland in line Service Level Agreement. Candidates must understand role which Depositary plays in investment fund lifecycle. You will act as a process SME and provide technical support to Depositary Supervisor and teams to ensure all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards.

Why this role is important to us

Depositary is an EMEA specific regulatory function with fiduciary duty to the end investor.

European investment funds, whether UCITS or AIF, must appoint a Depositary in accordance with the UCITS and AIFM Directives. The Depositary is responsible for the safekeeping of the investment fund’s assets and therefore ensures separation of those assets from the management of the fund. In addition, the depositary is required to perform oversight functions and, in this way, oversees certain activities of the fund manager such as valuation of the fund assets and monitoring of fund cash flows.

What you will be responsible for

Person in this role will be responsible for executing following tasks (preparation and review):

Safekeeping of financial instrumentsOwnership verification and record keeping & reconciliation of other assetsCash flows monitoringMonitoring of investment restrictionsOversight of subscriptions and redemptionsReview of asset valuation and calculation of NAVMonitoring of settlement of asset transactionsControl of income distributionsIdentify issues and problems in service delivery and carry out necessary corrective action. Ensure the issues log is updated and track progress

Graduate or during studies in Economics / Finance or relatedEager to learn and developGood with numbers and ExcelMin 1 year experience in Finance / Banking industry or relatedKnowledge of AIFMD, CSSF regulations would be an advantage
