We are pleased to announce the opening for a Senior Design, Failure, and Mission Assurance Engineer, who will join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team that supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Engineering Design group and will support Engineering Technical Reviews, Failure Review Boards, Engineering Integration, and Mission Assurance Provisions Requirements Applicability Matrices (MAP RAMs).
Responsibilities:
You’ll be:
+ Enabling MDA Programs in preparation of Mission Assurance Provisions Requirements Applicability Matrices (MAP RAMs) and in setting thresholds for each requirement in the MAP
+ Supporting the preparation and review of Technical Review Plans for the conduct of Engineering Technical Reviews (SRR, PDRs, CDRs and Agile Reviews)
+ Providing support during the planning and conduct of Engineering Technical Reviews
+ Supporting System- and Element- Level failure reviews
Basic Qualifications:
+ MS degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of experience
+ Active Secret Clearance required
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in a STEM field with at least 12 years of experience
+ Active secret clearance
+ Strong understanding of engineering design principles
+ Experience in the flow-down of System-level requirements which influence Element-level designs.
+ Experience conducting and managing failure reviews
+ Exceptional communications and organization skills
+ Knowledge of Engineering, Analysis, Systems Engineering, Missile Defense, Electronic Warfare, Electronic Protection, Radar, MDS Countermeasures, and Risk Analysis
+ Knowledge of agile engineering design processes
+ Knowledge of digital engineering principals
+ Knowledge of and experience with the Missile Defense System (elements, products, increments and capabilities)
+ Knowledge of the MDA Mission Assurance Provisions
