In this role you will be responsible for technical management of a highly-effective **B** **ridge and Civil Structures design team** , with integrated Geotechnical Engineering discipline. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Lead the technical delivery of bridge and structure designs on multiple projects simultaneously. + Lead technical reviews of the team’s work, including quality checks before submission. + Plan, allocate, and coordinate resources to execute design commissions. + Liaise with Project Managers and other Discipline Leads to manage deliverable schedules, information flow, and inter-disciplinary interfaces. + Set and agree on priorities with Project Managers and Technical Managers. + Meet with clients and approving authorities, when required, to present and discuss design matters. + Provide clear direction to the Structures Team, ensuring expectations and priorities are understood. + Report to the Technical Director on delivery, staffing, and utilization. + Support the Technical Director with recruitment and people management within the team. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. + Minimum 15 years' post-graduate experience in bridges and structures design, including management and supervisory experience. + Proven experience in managing teams, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop staff to achieve project goals and high performance. + Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and engage teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. + Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to clients, stakeholders, and team members. + A strong dedication to maintaining the highest standards of technical quality and ensuring the successful delivery of all projects on time and within budget **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Previous experience in the UAE and GCC, with a solid understanding of local regulations, standards, and market dynamics. + Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions that align with project goals, business objectives, and long-term growth. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines efficiently. + Experience working with Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and software within a Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring seamless collaboration and data management throughout project lifecycle.
