Senior Design Product Engineer (Hybrid)

What you will do
Will determine and ensure the use of specific design approaches and parameters and will conduct feasibility studies on new designs.Will analyze equipment to establish operating data, ensure experimental tests are conducted and evaluate the results.Will select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements.Will aid in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, have manufacturability and are reliable.Will assist in evaluating vendor capability to support development. Will submit periodic reports on assigned topics to supervisor.Will interact telephonically and in person with customer to resolve product issues.May be assigned to the engineering efforts of a specific product or product line.May coordinate the activities of 1 or more employees.What you need
Required:
Minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience.Able to communicate in English.Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.Demonstrated electrical problem-solving skills.Demonstrated experience with ProE or CAD.Demonstrated technical design and problem-solving skills.Preferred:
Experience with Creo and/or SolidWorks CAD. Experience with Windchill PLM.Experience with medical device design.Travel Percentage: 30%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
