We’re seeking a Sr. Design Program Manager to drive forum experiences and design programs that inspire, connect, and elevate Design at LinkedIn. You'll join Community Operations, a team focused on upleveling craft, and enhancing the employee experience within Design. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Manager of Community Operations, Design Chief of Staff, and VP of Design to own the vision, content, and execution of key initiatives. Examples include design all hands, annual global team summit, design manager meet ups, and other creative programs and initiatives that foster collaboration and spark innovation. You’ll curate thoughtful and unique experiences that celebrate our craft, amplify our culture, and enhance the employee journey. Your work will play a pivotal role in shaping an environment where designers feel inspired, supported, and connected to their purpose and peers. If you’re passionate about creating memorable, meaningful moments for a world-class design team, this is the opportunity for you! **Responsibilities** + Lead and execute key design community programs, including design all-hands, the annual global team summit, design manager meet-ups, and other strategic initiatives that foster connection and innovation. + Develop and drive a compelling vision for design community engagement, ensuring programs align with organizational goals and elevate the employee experience. + Curate user centered solutions and produce engaging experiences that celebrate design craft, reinforce culture, and create meaningful moments for the team. + Partner, pitch, design, and communicate ideas to Design leadership, and align programs with broader company and team objectives. + Prioritize industry engagement and help people understand why we’re a great place to design. + Manage program logistics from concept to execution, including content development, speaker coordination and talk tracks, experience design, and post-event impact assessment. + Facilitate knowledge-sharing and best practice exchange among design leaders to strengthen team cohesion and professional growth. + Continuously iterate and improve programs based on feedback, industry trends, and evolving team needs. + Communicate program impact through storytelling, metrics, and insights that highlight the value of community initiatives. + Champion inclusivity and accessibility in all programs to ensure an engaging and welcoming environment for all team members. + Build strong relationships with individuals in design, and across product, to ensure you're creating experiences that highly resonate. + Build, manage, and/or identify operational improvements to creative workflows in order to deliver high-quality products and features through the project lifecycle while delivering on goals and objectives and user experience value. + Manage program risks and drive issue resolution as it relates to meeting the overall schedule and quality commitments. + Proactively work with stakeholders throughout the org to help define business needs, requirements, investment priorities and product features. + Clearly identify, explain, and communicate progress, status, expectations, dependencies and risks to executives, business stakeholders and team members. + Own and manage team documentation, including team sites, status, and other centralized resources. + Proactively contribute best practices, tips, and templates to shared Design org resources. + Keep a pulse on team morale, escalating risks to leadership and identifying opportunities for improvement. **Basic Qualifications:** + BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience + Minimum of 5 years in design program management, design operations, design management, product management, HR, or other relevant experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience leading programs + Experience utilizing social media + UX and Visual Design skills + Strong facilitation, and project management skills + Knowledge and interest in working in design and user experience + Ability to collaborate, create relationships, and communicate with various stakeholders including design leadership team, business, external vendors, and HR leaders + Excellent communication, analytical, and problem solving skills + Experience working with budget and spreadsheets + Ability to logically and efficiently structure ambiguous problems + Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision + Ability to handle ambiguity, set goals and effectively deliver to them if project plans shift and need to adapt. **Suggested Skills:** + Problem Solving + Collaboration + Knowledge about the design industry and current trends LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $112,000 - $183,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
