Senior Design Technologist/ HTML (CONTRACT) REMOTE

Broadridge is looking for a Senior Design Technologist specializing in user interface design and front-end web development. The role’s responsibilities will span design and development for user interfaces in a next-generation digital delivery solution. We’re seeking passionate front-end technologists who enjoy designing and supporting our top strategic B2B2C initiatives through JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and other front-end technologies. Having experience in rendering content in e-mail is equally important.

Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.  

Responsibilities:

Write high-quality and efficient code in Vue.js, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and other languages for e-mail and interactive, targeted websitesWork closely with Product Owners to shape the investor communications into intuitive, frictionless and valuable experiencesAttends client workshops to understand client requirements and makes recommendations for the best user experience.Work in an Agile development environment, attending ceremonies, accurately estimating story points and meeting sprint deadlinesCollaborate closely with UX designers, and other team members to help define the scope of the product and shape the overall experienceWork with users and QA to perform testing of applications and resolve reported defects/issues.Assist with identifying and evaluating new technologies and methodologies to solve complex problems.

Required Skills and Experience

A strong mix of technical skills, visual design craft and creative sensibilitiesExperience working effectively with UX/design teams and translating design compositions into pixel-perfect experiencesA deep understanding of responsive, dynamic web applications and the knowledge to build experiences that span various viewports/devicesA strong working knowledge of building modern front-end web applications using advanced CSS techniques, manipulating UI elements and applying animations/transitionsExperience with rapid prototyping and creating proof-of-concept demonstrations to vet ideas for feasibilityExperience working with data and data visualizationKeep tabs on emerging technologies and share ideas with the larger teamProficiency in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.Strong experience in building User Interfaces using latest frameworks.Experience building rich data-driven web applications and User Interfaces5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScriptFamiliar with various design and architectural patterns.Ability to work with version control using GitMust have previously worked on one or more projects that involve a full SDLC implementationDemonstrated ability to work well in a team environment

Hourly range $70-75/hr
