This position reports to

Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Your responsibilities:• Creates an engineering design concept / philosophy definition.• Acts as a technical lead and approves design deliverables.• Reviews complete project documents for conformity, safety, cybersecurity, and quality assurance requirements.• Reviews and adjusts design as necessary, based on design output to meet the contractual obligations.• Anticipates and solves unprecedented design problems, crucial issues, and/or unique conditions.• Collaborates on project installation, commissioning, and site activities to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify engineering errors.• Provides technical support to commissioning and start-up activities.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent \t8 to 10 years of experience in Electrification projects, design, review, test and supervise the manufacturer of electrical equipment, such as MV/LV SWGR, Transformer, PMS, Compact Sub Station and eHouse\tProficient in ACAD and Revit software skills\tDemonstrated experience in managing engineering activities, vendors/subcontractors as well as engineering processes\tA strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines\tA high level of self-motivation and curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies\tDemonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong, well-developed communication, influencing and coaching skills\tGood written and interpersonal skills
