Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create, modify, and analyze the design of equipment, systems, or installations, including specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction. Each day, you will optimize designs to meet updated standards and incorporate new products, components, and functionalities. You will also showcase your expertise by applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects.The work model for the role is: #Li - Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Traction Division in Nelmangala, Bangalore.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tHardware Design and development of converters for railways applications, like Traction Converter, Auxiliary convertor, and Battery chargers.•\tConceptualize new designs and translate concept into formal electronic design drawings.•\tReview drawing/specifications and communicate requirements to vendors/ Customers. •\tUnderstand and update all product Schematics and Other design documentation.•\tProvide input and recommend changes to new and existing product designs.•\tKnowledgeable and proficient in all Design Calculation and Simulations.•\tPerforming FFA analysis on Power and control designs and support to PLCM.•\tContinually recommends improvements in all areas related to standards, products, and drawings.

Qualifications for the role

\tRequires a Bachelor's / Master’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics engineering. \tPrefer >3-6 years of related work experience \tMust have good experience in power electronics, traction convertor, Auxiliary convertor, railways applications.\tPower Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 4-5 years of experience. \tProficiency design software including MATLAB and E3 schematic etc.\tAble to perform and analyze results from simulations and Hand calculations.
