The primary responsibility of this role is to support Maintenance on Line (MoL) activities of Plant. With minimal directions prepare all necessary mechanical drawings of MoL activities. Create Bill of material, test fixtures, 3D models and details of fabrication and assembly drawings using Autodesk Inventor and ENOVIA. Create and work on standard operating procedures, create design Automation and work on Sustaining Engineering programs. Implement best Dfx practices within product design phase.
"1. Provide technical assistance to manufacturing / engineering groups
2. .Must be proficient in CAD software programs such as AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, Autodesk Inventor. Should be able to create new detail design and assembly drawings for new designs, feature of the most complex nature.
3. Able to support production order issues from MOL support and maintain timeline for the deliverables.
4. Able to demonstrate a solid foundation in mechanical, electrical principles
5.Act as the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) Administrator and ensure efficient completion of the process for each ECN.
6. Able to understand product design standards IEC / UL / IEEE
7. Ability to excel as a team player by successfully collaborating with engineering peers as well as cross-functional personnel to ensure custom designs meet customer expectations
8. Proficiently use of the ECN and Document Management Systems to process changes and implement new product information
9. Proficiently use Enovia Bill Of Materials to create new assemblies.
10. Perform Quality Checks to ensure drawings meet Eaton and customer standards / requirements
11. Effectively utilize EIIC Eco-system like Test Lab, Digital Org, CDP&T capabilities for building & maturing the cost out portfolio.
