CHEP Australia is seeking a curious, highly-skilled Senior RPA Developer to join our driven, supportive & innovative Sales & Finance Teams on a 6-month fixed-term contract and help drive the APAC Region’s automation projects to the next level!

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Manager: RPA & Continuous Improvement and Manager: Digital Transformation, primarily based at our shiny new offices in Macquarie Park (Hybrid work arrangement available), this role is responsible for the overall delivery of RPA projects - including feasibility, design, development, testing, and maintenance within CHEP's APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

Process Evaluation: Assess processes for their potential and suitability for RPA, and estimate work effort for controllership and wider finance teams.Project Development: Define and plan development approaches for various projects, considering both current and future RPA opportunities.Solution Design: Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs) with detailed process flows and technical specifications.RPA Development: Design and develop Blue Prism solutions following best practices and CHEP's standards.Agile Practices: Apply agile principles to maximize business value and improve customer outcomes.Project Management: Communicate project risks and issues, ensuring timely delivery within planning constraints.Quality Assurance: Ensure automation quality through comprehensive user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-go-live testing.Support & Mentorship: Provide operational and change management support, mentor colleagues, and drive continuous improvement in automation processes.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

RPA Project Leadership: Extensive experience in leading and delivering RPA projects using Blue Prism.Full RPA Lifecycle Experience: Solid experience across the RPA Lifecycle, including process re-engineering and documentation, simplifying and improving automation processes.RPA Tools Expertise: Proficiency in Blue Prism (UI Path, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate are also considered).Stakeholder Engagement: Experience in fostering positive working relationships with finance teams; logistics or sales as a bonus.Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineeering, STEM related field, or equivalent professional experience.Certifications: Blue Prism developer certification is required; Power Automate and SAP certifications are desirable.Agile Environment: Experience in Scrum-Agile environments.Global Experience: Experience working in a global corporation or consulting environment.
