Senior Developer

As a Senior Unreal Engine Developer, you are doing what you love, using your extensive experience to extend features and optimize Unreal Engine. Well-documented reusable Blueprints and Plugins are your standard deliverable. What you don’t know, you research and tinker to find solutions to problems others have not encountered because you’re pushing the engine to its limits. We want to help you do more of this with global brands doing the same in their domains as you are in yours.

This is a contract position with a projected end date of April 30, 2025.

You will:

Design, implement, and maintain complex game systems, plugins, and EUWs using Unreal Engine Blueprints and C++ (as needed) Collaborate with leads, testers, & stakeholders ensuring mechanics are implemented effectively Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth integrations within products and pipelines Identify and solve problems related to experience development using Blueprints Optimize game systems and mechanics to ensure optimal performance Enhance character and ControlRig Blueprints Document implementations and maintain up-to-date project and product documentation Stay up-to-date with new developments and features related to Unreal Engine Blueprints and other game development tools

You have:

Advanced English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation) 5+ years of experience in game development with a focus on Unreal Engine Blueprints Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 Experience with modern Unreal Engine features, including Control Rig, PCG, and Editor Utility Widgets Proficient in C++, Python, or other relevant programming languages Experience creating in-engine utilities and extending UE Enjoys flexing problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed remote team environment Excellent communication and documentation skills Passion for video games, interactive experiences, and the game development process

You may have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, UE Bootcamp, Game Development, or related field VR HMU (Oculus Quest 2, Vive Pro, etc.) Understanding of packaging final projects for distribution
