Job Description Summary:
The Senior Application Developer (DotNetNuke) is responsible for full systems lifecycle management activities (designing, developing, testing, and implementation) for DNN solutions in accordance with the business processes, needs and requirements.The Senior Application Developer (DNN) works very closely with both IT and external business groups to assist with the solutioning, development, implementation and integration of innovative DotNetNuke solutions using industry standard techniques and tools.
The developer provides tactical support to the internal user community as well as strategic analysis to ensure that Intralinks is utilizing the ServiceNow platform to its ultimate potential.
Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
• Collaborate with development and ITSM teams to research, plan, coordinate, develop, test & implement application solutions from conceptual design to delivery.
• Receive requirements and deliver solutions that meet the needs presented and play a tactical role in design, solutioning, and implementation sessions.
• Help facilitate integrating ServiceNow with third party software, activating plug• ins etc.
• Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
• Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to junior ServiceNow developers and/or team members.
• Work with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions while using OOTB and low/no code functionality wherever possible.
• Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting
• Configure/Customize ServiceNow applications, including creating workflow administration, tables, customize the UI, manage groups, roles and security permissions across the platform, category and subcategory structure, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, custom application development, SSO, and Government Community Cloud requirements.
• Help maintain code quality, documentation, and automatization.
• Build and support integrations to drive automation, increase visibility and improve data quality.
• Provide high quality support and technical documentation of the ServiceNow platform.
• Ensure that the platform stays current with regular platform upgrades while following and adhering to development. standards and best practices.
• Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades with the purpose of certifying all applications for use after the upgrade completes which includes Incident, Problem, Change, Chat, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Password Reset and Custom (Scoped) Applications.
• Monitor health, usage and overall audit compliance of the ServiceNow Platform.
• Author and maintain system design and operations documentation including technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and debug system issues.
• Answer how to technical and application configuration questions.
Skills/Abilities
• Knowledge of developing, updating, and interpreting JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow development and configuration best practices.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow database hierarchies and design.
• Strong development, customization, and administration skills.
• Proficiency with SOAP and REST Web Services.
• Proficiency with SQL and scripting tools such as PowerShell.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Excellent communication and strong team player.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Education
Bachelors in Computer Science or similar discipline.
Experience
3-5 year experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management and CMDB, web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, etc.)
