What you’ll do:
In this role, you'll be part of a dynamic team to develop and maintain the infrastructure behind our prototypes and internal projects. You'll focus on building and optimizing development pipelines, contributing to every phase of development with your full-stack expertise and passion for UX. Collaboration will span multiple time zones and departments, involving regular interaction with leaders and customers. You'll stay ahead of new technologies, especially those related to our core architecture, and continually seek ways to grow and enhance your skills.
Working within a highly dynamic and multi-disciplinary team of designers and developers, your role will focus on developing and maintaining the Cloud-based infrastructure that power our prototypes and internal developments: you will be responsible for building, automating, optimizing, and maintaining development and deployment pipelines.
You will be encouraged and supported to contribute to all aspects of the design and development process of our prototypes, as an experienced full-stack developer who is equally excited to contribute to the design and UX aspects of our projects.
You will be expected to collaborate in a multi-time zone, remote work environment with colleagues in design, development, and product management units across SAP, including communication with leaders and executives both from within SAP and our customer-base.
Assess new technologies, tools, and infrastructures, particularly those related to the SAP North Star architecture, to keep up with the rapid pace of change.
Continually enhance existing skills and seek new areas for personal development.
What you bring:
You have a strong foundation in technology and several years of experience in enterprise software development. You're proficient in managing Cloud operations and infrastructure, and skilled at building and maintaining development pipelines. Your full-stack development skills are complemented by a keen eye for design, making you adept at both backend and frontend tasks. You thrive in collaborative environments and are always eager to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university education in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of experience in developing, maintaining enterprise class software.
Real-world experience in constructing, automating, and monitoring Cloud operations and infrastructure (experience using Kubernetes, Docker, Dynatrace, Kibana), developing build and deployment pipelines (knowledge of Cloud Foundry, and SAP BTP is a plus).
Knowledge of modern full-stack development: experience in developing data services, API layers (CAP, CDS knowledge a plus), and frontend development (JS, TS, React a plus)
Have experience of working within a design-led development projects and associated tooling (knowledge of Figma a plus)
