Job Description

The Senior Development Specialist comprises great knowledge in core materials and technologies. The function is responsible for successfull completion of complex development projects and incoporates the role of a technical expert. With this it strongly contributes to state of the art knowledge in the development team. 1. Strategy

▪ Contribution to the product strategy within the developpment team
▪ Maintains the product portfolio for the respective area
▪ Defines global standard constructions for customers with global decsion power in the region and prepares proper transfer to other regions / TechCentres
▪ Ensure fit-for-purpose and time to market, propose agile processes 
▪ Performs product benchmarking
▪ Identify strategic technology partners (suppliers / customers / ...) supporting the TechCentre and R&D strategies▪ Contribution to the product strategy within the developpment team

Qualifications

1. Master degree or above, major in materials or chemical engineering

2. More than 5 years of technical experience in polymer industry, good knowledge in Auto interior product, material and process is preferred

3. Proven project management experience in major projects and successfully completed projects with high complexity

4. Communicating effectively

5. Good ability to work under pressure and research spirit

6. Good English in written and read, fluent oral English is preferred
