Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, deploying, and maintaining applications in both Cloud and On-Premises environments. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Ø  Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.

Ø  Manage and optimize deployments in both Cloud and On-Premises environments.

Ø  Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability.

Ø  Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues efficiently.

Ø  Continuously improve infrastructure-as-code practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

Ø  system performance and implement solutions for optimization and scalability.

Ø  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

What We’re Looking For

Ø  5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.

Ø  Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Go or a similar language.

Ø  Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Ø  Solid understanding of deployment tools (Helm, Kustomize).

Ø  Familiarity with development best practices (Testing, clean code, development patterns)

Ø  Familiarity with security best practices in Cloud and On-Premises environments.

Ø Strong problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Ø Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.

Ø Familiarity with Go programming language.

Ø Knowledge of advanced networking concepts.

Ø Expertise in Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and On-Premises infrastructure.

Ø Hands-on experience with Gitlab CI

Ø Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.).

Ø Previous experience in mentoring or leading a team
