The Bouqs Co. is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our platform, ensuring the scalability, reliability and security of the cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA and operations teams to drive continuous improvements, optimize our cloud deployments and streamline our CI/CD processes.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on Amazon AWS Cloud and CloudflareDevelop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software release process, ensuring best practices in Continuous Integration and Continuous DeliveryMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability, reliability, and securityCollaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and improve deployment processesImplement infrastructure as code (IaC) using TerraformManage containerization and orchestration using Docker and KubernetesEnsure system security through vulnerability assessments, patch management and compliance auditsWork with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB, and RedisQualifications: 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role with a proven track record of managing systems on the Amazon AWS CloudBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or a related fieldIn-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Cloud Native tools such as Terraform, Docker and KubernetesHands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or others such as GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CISolid understanding and hands-on experience of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)In-depth understanding of networking, security best practices and system administrationExtensive experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB, Redis)Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsHands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShellExperience with complex shopping platforms, logistical support systems, and e-commerce platform such as WebLinc/WorkArea is a big plusExperience supporting and maintaining applications written in Java, Scala, Ruby on Rails is a plusExperience with PCI compliance is a plusCompensation & Perks:Competitive Base Salary Range of $120,000.00-$150,000.00 + Equity Package Health, Dental & Vision with 100% employee coverage 401k MatchingThree Weeks Paid VacationDiscounts on The World’s Best Flowers (obviously!)
