About the RoleWe're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team who will be responsible for service delivery, reliability, and scalability. This is a hands-on technical role focused on infrastructure-as-code implementation, automation, and ensuring system reliability. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, participating in on-call rotations while having the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and shape our technical infrastructure.What You Will DoDesign and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Helm Charts while implementing security best practices including SAST and DASTDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance application security and streamline release processesBuild and maintain comprehensive monitoring and observability systems using tools like Grafana and DataDog to ensure high system availabilityLead infrastructure automation and configuration management initiatives while collaborating with Product Management on technical requirements and scalabilityArchitect and maintain production environments, focusing on microservices architecture and container orchestrationProvide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members while participating in cross-functional initiativesParticipate in on-call rotations to maintain system reliabilityWork on system architecture, design, and infrastructure automation through IaCWho You Are (Required):A seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or equivalent engineering rolesAn expert in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) with deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Helm, AWS CloudFormation)Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestrationDeep knowledge of microservices architecture and Linux systemsA skilled programmer comfortable with Python, Go, or Bash, particularly in implementing automation and toolingA strong communicator who can work effectively in ambiguous environments and collaborate across teamsSomeone who maintains a strong focus on security and stabilityWho You Are (Preferred):Experience building complex systems supporting 100,000+ usersPrior experience with e-commerce systems and ShopifyBackground in team leadership or mentorshipExperience with all stages of SDLCExperience working in fast-paced startup environmentsWhat We OfferBest in class health, dental, and vision insuranceHealthcare FSA Dependent Care FSA Commuter Benefits FSA Short-term/long-term disability and life insurancePaid Parental leave401k with 4% matchPet InsuranceLegal and Identity Theft PlansVacation time and sick days$140,000 - $160,000 a yearThe Pay Range, which consists of salary and commission, for this position is listed.
