The Platform Services team is a strategic part of the Global Technology Platform at TransUnion that utilize technologies that will enable us to process our massive volumes, and we are seeking someone who has significant hands-on experience in utilizing a variety of technologies in the pursuit of delivering services that are highly performant and scalable, and have done so utilizing the underlying principles of a microservice architecture and using cloud patterns.

8+ years of hands-on experience in development of highly performant services/microservices, ideally at an enterprise level.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, advanced degrees preferred.Should have a strong hands on experience with any one of the gateways Layer7, Kong, Apigee, Mulesoft.Strong Knowledge in ContainersStrong Knowledge in KubernetesExperience with AWS or Azure.Good understanding and experience with Design patterns, with Cloud and Microservice Design patterns being preferred.Should have completed AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate, AWS Certified Security - Specialty certificates or similar.

Work with the Architects, Product and Development teams on the design / processesParticipate in the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for project delivery and system support tasksBe a good team member, solve whatever problems (technical or non-technical) the team encountering.Analyze, evaluate, modify new/existing programs and systemsLearn new technology from the market, and bring its benefit to the team.Contribute to design and develop on digital transformation initiatives, modernizing existing platform to a modernized (e.g. Microservices) enterprise architectureWork with both local and Onsite development teams in driving the SDLC development process

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
