Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Description:

Senior DevOps EngineerThis is an opportunity for a highly motivated Full Stack Dev Ops Engineer to contribute to the development and support efforts in developing and maintaining high-quality security and infrastructure components. This Engineer will need to work independently to analyze, research code, recommend and detail technical design strategies, develop, test, and work with Environment groups to integrate and support changes from development to test to production environments. Our group develops Authorization, B2B Security and Single Sign On infrastructure software components that are the backbone for many of Fidelity’s web business applications.

This role encourages new perspectives, creative thinking and rewards individuals who are passionate about technology and problem solving. The ideal candidate brings experience developing, deploying, and monitoring critical production applications and familiarity with security concepts. We value the ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and analysts across organizations and communicate clearly throughout the development lifecycle -- all while demonstrating a dedicated focus on protecting our customers' digital experiences at Fidelity.

The Expertise and Skills You BringExtensive experience installing, configuring, and managing Apache Web Server.  Knowledge of Envoy proxy server a strong plus. Proficiency in Jenkins, Splunk, Datadog, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and a scripting language like Groovy/Bash/PythonSignificant hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based applications running in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)Proven experience building and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policiesAdept at communicating technical solutions, risks, and business value to peers and leadership in written, spoken, and presentation formDedication to learning new and sophisticated technologies and able to guide others about those technologiesExperience implementing policy-based authorization solutions with Open Policy Agent (OPA) is a plus.

The TeamThe Workplace Security Services team is part of the Workplace Customer Protection Center of Excellence and supports protecting thousands of employers and millions of participants.
