The advanced practice dietitian is recognized as having mastered the highest degree of skill and knowledge in an area of clinical focus. Functions as the Nutritional Therapy department's expert in an area of focus and mentors peers to share knowledge while demonstrating personal and organizational leadership. Responsible for providing comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to acute care patients while upholding Providence's mission and core values.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field preferred Coursework/Training and ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Temporary Practice Permit Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration Upon hire: One (1) Certification from one of the following: CNSC, CSR, CSO, CSPCC, CSSD, CSOWM, CSG, CSPN, CDCES, BC-ADM, CLC, ALC, ALPP, CHES, MCHES, IBCLC, CEDS, or RD-AP. 4 years of recent professional experience in clinical nutrition in an acute care settingPreferred qualifications:
