As the Senior Digital Asset Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our digital production operations, managing and distributing digital assets. You'll be the go-to expert, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure assets meet internal standards, receive metadata and rights restrictions, are properly named and are added to a Digital Asset Management system.  Plus, you'll play a crucial role in our secure product launches by securing assets and facilitating user access to the secured assets. 


This role is Hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.


What you’ll do
•    Serve as the point of contact for the receipt, management, and distribution of digital assets, including the associated licensing
•    Purchase stock images and video 
•    Provide education, ensure security of assets, and facilitate user access to secure assets as the Subject Matter Expert for Secure Product Launches
•    Review 3rd party logo usage of Best Buy proprietary marks

Basic qualifications
•    2+ years of Digital Asset Management Systems or Archives 
Strong analytical and organizational skills
•    Top-notch communication skills and project coordination
•    Show great judgment and be detail-oriented
•    Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment
•    High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred qualifications
•    Associate’s degree in Marketing or a related field 
•    Experience in Marketing or Advertising or retail
•    Knowledge and proficiency of metadata and taxonomy
•    Strong skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office.
•    Mac Experience
