This job assists in development and implementation of online digital content strategic initiatives that sustain and strengthen the system position in the market and provide measurable return on investment. Drafts, builds and edits social and website content, including web copy, social copy, video and creative assets while maintaining consistency with brand or sub-branding guidelines. Aggregates content for the Baton Rouge region across all areas and plans and implements distribution strategy across various channels. Tracks analytics and SEO to formulate digital content strategy, track ROI and continually improve results, and supports system brand and online marketing initiatives across all digital channels. Collaborates with the Creative Media/Video, Digital and Marketing teams on creative ideas and design options, functionality and implementation. Participates in the strategic planning process for clients and assists or oversees projects for social media campaigns, video editing, web builds, email marketing and social media advertising tracking. Keeps executive and operations leaders informed of digital performance. This position is based in Baton Rouge but will enjoy a hybrid work model that includes a mix of onsite work and work-from-home. The position posts social media content for the region and supports the implementation of website digital content creation, including ongoing updates and development.
Education
Required – Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, writing, digital media or related field.
Work Experience
Required – 5 years of experience in web management and content creation.
Preferred – 5 years of experience in content creation for web, content management systems (CMS), social media and Google Analytics.
Preferred experience in Digital and Social Media Content Development, Website Content Creation, Writing and Editing, Website Content Management Systems, Posting on Social Media Channels and Monitoring Social Media Communities
Looking for experience with social media community management and engagement with followers, content optimization experience, publishing natively on social platforms, scheduling with link tracking, and using Facebook Business Manager.
Event coverage experience is a plus, or handling live social media/ real time content creation.
Experience with Google Analytics would be valuable.

Writing engaging marketing content for digital channels, including website, blog, email and social media. Provide support for social media content for health system’s presence in the Baton Rouge region, with a focus on using storytelling to show the breadth and depth of health services available, while highlighting key regional differentiators. Implement and post engaging content to drive business conversions for service lines in the region through posts on all social media channels, monitor and review social media postings, and social media community management. Drafts, edits and/or proofreads online copy and video for website, social media, online advertising and blog. Drafts web content through an online content management system based on online marketing strategy for optimal user experience. Ensuring all content is optimized for search and follows best practices for SEO. Create, implement and execute digital content plans and social media campaigns. Manages online reputation management, business listings and provider profile presence in given areas of focus by region or service line. Identify opportunities for development and implementation of online/digital content that sustains and strengthens the brand’s position in the market to acquire and retention patients and provide measurable marketing return on investment through social media promotion/boosts to drive business conversions. Analyzes data, tracks outcomes to determine marketing impact, and methodically manages budgets to seek opportunities for cost reduction and outcome improvement.Other related duties as required.
