Summary: Seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to lead FPGA design, system simulation, and digital hardware integration for advanced defense and intelligence products.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of experience
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (no dual citizenship, no felonies, no bankruptcies)
Preferred Skills:
Experience with computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software
Knowledge in signal integrity, power analysis, and interface analysis
Job Responsibilities:
Involve in FPGA design, system simulation, synthesis, resource and power utilization analysis, place and route, timing analysis, verification, and integration activities
Generate and execute constraint-driven synthesis and timing closure techniques
Design, build, and test devices containing both digital and optical hardware
Conduct functional analysis and performance analysis for the design of digital components
Lead a group of engineers ensuring timely completion within budget
Develop prototypes to mitigate key development risks
Specify and evaluate supplier components and services
Provide budgetary input for design assignments
Participate in proposal preparations
Attend relevant engineering or business meetings
