Senior Director, CFO and Finance Employee Communications

We are looking for a strategic leader to drive and execute the employee communications strategy for our Finance organization at LinkedIn. This role will partner with our Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for developing and delivering innovative communications initiatives that connect, engage, and inspire employees. As a business partner to senior leaders on the CFO team, you should be confident in providing counsel and have an ability to implement high-impact executive and employee communications. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and be able to shape our financial performance narrative to help drive business growth and highlight the value we deliver to our members and customers, and the teams that make it possible. The employee communications partner to our Chief Communications Officer will report to this role, and you will help oversee the internal communications strategy for our Communications and Social Impact organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Employee Communications, you’ll support developing a best-in-class employee communications team, setting long-term organizational strategy, and helping shape LinkedIn’s growth. Responsibilities: + Be a trusted thought partner to the Chief Financial Officer and the organization’s senior leaders, advising on the right forum, timing, and content of communications to ensure employees are informed, inspired, and empowered to help LinkedIn succeed. + Drive communications about our quarterly financial performance to LinkedIn’s more than 18,000 global employees, helping to share our results and shape narratives that show how we deliver value. + Plan and manage the bi-annual CFO Summit, including theme, agenda, speakers, and communications. + Creatively use different communication formats such as live events, videos, emails to inform and inspire employees. + Manage the global CFO team's strategic calendar to ensure effective coordination so that employees receive the right information at the right time through the right channels. + Support communications to LinkedIn’s global employees about our workplace offerings and experiences. + Evaluate the impact of internal communications and use insights to optimize and evolve strategies. + Partner with cross-functional teams including HR, Talent Development, TA, Chief of Staff, External Communications, and Legal to support change management, talent initiatives, and employee engagement programs. + The employee communications partner to our Chief Communications Officer will report to you; as a People Leader, coach and guide this person and oversee strategy, resourcing and prioritization. + Lead with adaptability, focus on problem solving through innovative solutions, and thrive in a landscape that can rapidly evolve. + Serve as a senior leader on the Employee Communications team to support the development of our global strategy, sponsor strategic projects, and drive collaboration and alignment across our work. Basic Qualifications: + 13+ years communications experience. + 10+ years employee communications experience working with and providing guidance to senior leaders. + 10+ years of people management experience. + Proven track record for leading and inspiring high performing employee communications teams. + Proven expertise in finance communications, particularly with quarterly earnings and investor relations. + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience in crafting internal messaging and content for various internal channels including email, presentations, newsletters, sites, and more. + Skilled at managing complex and high stakes internal communications. Preferred Qualifications: + 15+ years employee communications experience. + 10+ years experience supporting senior executives. + 15+ years of people management experience. + Relationship builder with strong business acumen and ability to prioritize around highest impact actions and partner across leadership and communications teams. + Strategic thinker, able to understand context and connect dots to stay ahead of issues and maximize opportunities. + Direct experience working in a finance-focused role. + Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align on communications plans and ensure buy-in and active partnership. **Suggested Skills** + Strategic Partnership and Thinking + Internal/Employee Communications + Executive Communications + Leadership, including Inclusive Leadership + Stakeholder Management LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $201,000 to $314,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
