The Senior Partnerships Director is a critical strategic leadership role in the Commerce organization, reporting to Executive Director, Commerce Initiatives and Transformation. This individual is responsible for driving a high-opportunity revenue stream with ambitious growth targets within the wider Affiliate Commerce organization. This highly collaborative position will work across the full Condé Nast portfolio and across the breadth of categories covered editorially to expand a suite of Affiliate Commerce performance-led partnerships and full funnel 360 programs in collaboration with Sales teams. The role is client service oriented and will set standards of excellence in the end-to-end partnership lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities
Business owner for the Affiliate Commerce Partnerships revenue line
Accountable for meeting and exceeding Partnerships expectations across key enterprise accounts and scaled Affiliate Commerce Partnerships program
Strategically identify unique sales propositions to productize the Affiliate Commerce Partnership program from sophisticated large scale bespoke packages to competitive off-the-shelf programs operated at scale, in collaboration with Revenue team Sales leads
Identify long term strategic growth opportunities across a 3, 4 and 5 year period and expand the suite of offerings for merchant partners based on external benchmarks, competitive landscape and company attributes
Own operational processes including management of existing and new Affiliate Commerce partners
Benchmark programs versus direct competitors to ensure programs are performative and sticky
Proactively and strategically build out business development prospects
Design highly performative always-on and tentpole Affiliate Commerce packages that are aligned to brand shopping moments in collaboration with Brand Leads
Collaborate with data, analytics, and product functions to identify initiatives to deliver self-serve and automated reporting and insights in addition to owning qualitative performance analysis for larger scale partnerships
Manage a growing, high-performing team and build a dynamic working culture reflecting Condé Nast values
Establish ways of working for pitch, sale, post-sale and reporting for Affiliate Commerce programs and 360 full funnel campaigns in collaboration with stakeholders
Find, screen and onboard third parties to drive performance across channels to efficiently scale Partnership opportunities
Develop strong cross-functional relationships across the Condé Nast organization including Sales teams, Licensing, Performance Marketing, Editorial, Global Revenue teams
P&L management including revenue and personnel costs

Skills & Qualifications
10+ years' experience in e-commerce, affiliate or brand / merchant partnerships
B2B sales experience preferred
Proven leadership within external partners in a commercial environment
Team management and 5+ years of leadership experience required
Comfortable with revenue forecasting and planning
Experience communicating with and presenting to senior executives, and translating company priorities into actionable goals for teams
Demonstrated history of fostering and sustaining a diverse and inclusive team with expertise in mentorship and team leadership
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Ability to size business opportunities and leverage data to influence everyday priorities to meet revenue goals
This position is based at our headquarters at 1 World Trade Center, New York, NY
The expected base salary range for this position is from $162,000-$181,00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
