We have a strong portfolio of brands, and we will continue to grow these brands through focused execution and targeted innovation. In this role you’ll play a crucial part in defining the business growth strategies for a portfolio of brands, creating strategies and frameworks to accelerate performance. Critical to this role will be defining and implementing strong marketing plans that will deliver our growth ambition across all markets. You'll need to possess strong leadership skills, sharp commercial acumen and have experience managing global teams. We’re looking for someone with a passion for action that welcomes a challenge and is a subject matter expert on category development.   

Leads a team of 6 Director level associates.

 

What You’ll Do for Us 

Defines a compelling vision for strategic growth for our portfolio across markets to deliver business growth. 

Delivers ‘bold & brilliant’ marketing plans against the identified strategic growth pillar. 

Drives synergies of scale, budget productivity and brand equity by challenging and building on existing frameworks/platforms and by importing and exporting great ideas.

Drive effectiveness for profitable and sustainable business growth.

Leads a team of marketing professionals to achieve brand revenue, profit, transactions, volume, market share and equity objectives through the identification of Operating Unit growth opportunities, the development of portfolio strategies, the creation and implementation of global/regional integrated marketing activities, and the monitoring and evaluation of initiatives.

Oversees all key functional areas critical to the development of the brand, including positioning adaptation, strategic communication in close collaboration with integrated marketing communications and leads all activities behind the portfolio, directing the business with a holistic approach beyond just a marketing perspective.

Identifies, analyzes and prioritizes categories’ strategic opportunities to achieve short and long-term growth business objectives. 

Develops operating unit brand strategies to maximize brand equity and share among targets throughout relevant consumption occasions. 

Oversees and coordinates brand development initiatives for the Portfolio, leading the development and production of all communication materials across all contact points. 

Oversees the training and development of employees through performance management system, career planning, coaching and feedback. 

Leads analysis of consumers’ habits and attitudes across all consumption occasions to capture revenue and profit growth. 

Understands and builds on regional differences to constantly provide consumers with relevant brand programs and activities.

Approves integrated marketing programs that leverage key brand concepts to differentiate the brand from the competition while capturing mindshare and increasing purchase intent. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or related field. 

7+ years of Category Management or equivalent experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company, including specific experience in the development and execution of consumer strategies and programs and sparking/stills brand experience. 

Proven record as team collaboration, management and development.  

Strategic thinking, planning and project management skills are required.  

Proficiency in marketing research tools, especially qualitative and quantitative studies.

Experience in profit & loss business management, content development, and understanding of general management are needed.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products is required, specifically Microsoft Excel.

Must possess, or be able to rapidly develop, a strong knowledge of products within assigned category and division sales requirements.

Pay Range:

$189,000 - $217,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
