Job Description:

About the Role: 

The Senior Director Corporate Functions Information Technology is responsible for leading the sustainment, development, and implementation of ERP solutions to support the business needs of TreeHouse Foods. This role involves close collaboration with business leaders and IT teams to understand requirements, develop solutions, and ensure successful implementation. The Senior Director will manage a team of internal and external technology professionals and be responsible for ensuring the ERP program remains aligned with the overall technology strategy and business goals of TreeHouse Foods. 

Lead the development and implementation of SAP solutions to support the business needs of TreeHouse Foods. Develop and execute a comprehensive program strategy for the sustainment and implementation of platform capabilities, overseeing all phases of the SAP ERP lifecycle, including planning, development and integration execution, monitoring, and sustainment operations. 

Engage with executive leadership and key stakeholders to communicate program progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. Establish and manage a robust program governance structure to ensure accountability and transparency.  

Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the program. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards. 

Implement effective change management practices to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of the new ERP system. Develop training and support programs to enhance user proficiency and acceptance. 

Prepare and present regular program status reports to executive leadership. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and drive continuous improvement. 

Lead and mentor a high-performing SAP team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to achieve program objectives. Allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget constraints. 

Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and consultants. Develop and maintain relationships with key SAP vendors and partners. 

Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements. 

 

Important Details: This is a role located out of our Corporate office in Oakbrook, IL. This will be a hybrid role with Tuesday – Thursday onsite and Monday and Friday remote.  

About You: 

You’ll fit right in if you have: 

Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, information technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 

12+ years of Information Technology/position-related experience with a focus on SAP solutions. 

Extensive experience in managing SAP ERP projects within the manufacturing or food production sector, with a proven track record of successful delivery. 

Experience in leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. 

Strong stakeholder management abilities, with experience in engaging with C-level executives. 

Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills 

Proven experience in managing third-party vendor relationships, including selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring. 

Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of services. 

Strong understanding of vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs). 

PMP or similar project management certification is a plus 

Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies proactively. 

Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cost management related to large-scale IT projects. 

Ability to track and report financial performance and ROI of the ERP implementation. 

In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and food production standards. Understanding of production planning, inventory management, and logistics within a manufacturing or food production context. 

Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory requirements, including food safety and quality standards. 

In-depth knowledge of SAP ERP systems, including modules like SAP S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, etc. 

Understanding of integration points between various SAP modules and third-party systems. 

Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., ASAP, Activate).
