Senior Director, Cyberdefense Operations

What you'll do We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Director with a passion for solving sophisticated security challenges, building and sustaining impactful teams, and protecting our customers. Your strong background in the operational aspects of security and extensive experience leading cyberdefense functions will be critical for success in this role. You’ll join our fun, creative, and dedicated leadership team collaborating with Engineering, Information Technology, and other Security teams to drive the right outcomes and enhance our security culture. This position a people manager role reporting to the Group Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer. Responsibility Lead with and model our Docusign culture and values Optimize and drive initiatives to deliver security at scale Prioritize strategic workstreams and deliver results among multiple teams Build happy, impactful Cyberdefense Operations teams Grow security capabilities with automation and data driven analysis Influence and gain alignment on strategic program decisions Lead multiple complex, company-wide security initiatives Build relationships and partner with senior leadership on security strategies, decisions, and risk Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience 12+ years of industry experience 7+ years of managing security or engineering teams over 6 people Experience in managing and leading security teams delivering security services protecting a SaaS environment Ability to obtain and maintain security vetting suitability to support federal government customers Preferred Extensive experience leading teams and broader organizations to reduce security risk and tackle complex security issues that have multiple stakeholders Ability to develop, build, and drive multiple security initiatives Proven leader of leaders with the ability to coach, guide, and develop others to their full potential Previous work supporting FedRAMP and DoD IL4/IL5 environments Experience with hyperscale private and public cloud computing environments Experience optimizing budgets and investment to achieve strategic results and improve security value Experience fostering executive relationships that drive “win-win” security results across a broad set of services at a fast-moving tech company Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $224,800.00 - $360,050.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
