We are currently looking for a Senior Director of DEI Engagement & Performance who will serve as a strategic thought partner, trusted advisor, and deputy to the VP & Chief DEI Officer (CDEIO).
Advancing DEI within the organization is an individual and collective journey that requires focused execution of multi-year, highly complex, strategic efforts. The Senior Director will co-design the enterprise-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy and lead a team of DEI business partners to connect and align execution of strategic efforts and actions in support of organizational goals.
In this role, you will:
+ Co-design the DEI strategy, establishing meaningful enterprise-wide and business sector goals and measures to enhance diversity, enable equity, foster inclusion, and support employee well-being;
+ Provide strategic thought partnership and support in all forms to the CDEIO;
+ Lead a team of DEI business partners to successfully execute and measure outcomes of strategic actions in support of enterprise-wide and sector-specific DEI strategies and goals;
+ Prepare executive-level presentations, communications, and high visibility content (e.g. internal and external announcements and messages, surveys, briefs, annual reports, etc.)
+ Direct efforts to connect and align business sectors' DEI Council initiatives with enterprise executive-level DEI Council's strategic priorities to accelerate achievement of organizational goals;
+ Lead execution of strategic DEI and inclusive well-being efforts to support leaders and employees working at Headquarters and within the Centers of Expertise (COEs);
+ Direct, negotiate, and adapt project scopes and timelines with internal stakeholders including CDEIO, HR leaders, DEI business partners, and DEI COE subject matter experts;
+ Liaise with external partners and organizations on behalf of CDEIO
The ideal candidate will:

+ Communicate clearly and effectively through all means of communication including written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual (e.g. emails, reports, presentations, speaking, briefing, responding, listening);

+ Build, maintain, and effectively engage a wide and deep network of stakeholders both internally and externally;
+ Have deep insight into effective people, culture, and change management strategies, processes, and best practices;
+ Instill discipline and rigor in team processes and practices to drive efficiencies and accountability;
+ Demonstrate humility, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to embrace uncertainty amidst a vast array of ambiguous, complex challenges that emerge in DEI work.
This position allows for a hybrid remote work schedule, requiring, on average, 3 days per week onsite.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s degree and at least 12 years of experience;
+ Experience leading successful execution of strategic and impactful DEI efforts within a business;
+ Demonstrated experience leading successful execution of projects and driving change;
+ Excellent relationship and trust-building, coaching, and influencing skills;
+ Ability to interpret data, extract insights, identify themes, and tell a clear and compelling story to inform recommended actions and next steps;
+ Experience leading inclusively to enable top performance of a diverse team;
+ Ability to come onsite at the Falls Church HQs on a hybrid schedule.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $151300 - $257200
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
