Job Description The Senior Director of APD DevOps will lead the Auto Physical Damage Division Operational Excellence, DevOps and Agile software development process. This role is responsible for: Enhancing the operational efficiencies of the business through root cause analysis and utilization of new technology. Guiding the day-to-day operations, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity initiatives Shape the strategic direction for DevOps and operational excellence Leading innovation projects for the DevOps team Creating strategies for creation critical monitors and alerts to ensure fast detection and resolution of potential issues Managing the Agile release process of the division from pre-planning to release rollout Providing updates tr key stakeholders and customers on key metrics and incidents. Key Responsibilities: Lead the management, operations, and enhancements of the 24x7x365 operations for both on-prem and cloud-based applications, ensuring adequate coverage and effective monitoring and resolution of service issues. Lead cross functional initiatives that will improve product performance, availability and quality Lead the development and maintenance of Standard Operation Procedures, ensure consistent and effective operations that meet service level agreements and key performance indicators. Drive continuous improvements to incident management, change management, Agile software development and DevOps processes. Author and present operation status reports, trends, and statistics on application health, customer metrics, and KPIs to key stakeholders. Provide leadership during service-impacting events, including incident response, root cause analysis, incident review, and incident reporting. Lead the cloud migration aspects of operations, DevOps, deployments, performance, monitoring, and alerts Lead key projects and collaborations with IT, security, and infrastructure teams. Identify and hire top talent for the team. Train team members to meet their expectations and grow their career. Ensure on time and on budget deliverables with high quality Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field required (or equivalent experience) 8+ years of leadership experience in product development or operations Experience in production data center operations, including process, service, event management, escalations, and metrics Hands-on technical leadership experience with best-in-class processes, tools, automation, and metric-driven results Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software Experience supervising staff and coordinating shift schedules to ensure 24x7 coverage Need to work in PST time zone for at least 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Prior experience and good knowledge of Agile software development methodologies. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $155,000 - $200,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
