Senior Director, Division Operations
**Description** The Senior Director of Division Operations will show accountability and ownership of the day-to-day management of the Operations teams for the division within the Central Region. This person will drive operational optimization by implementing continuous improvement models within the Central Region and markets they support while remaining aligned with other Division Leaders. The candidate is required to live in the central region. **_Responsibilities:_** + Drive operational optimization by implementing continuous improvement models within the Central Region and markets they support while remaining aligned with other Division Leaders. + Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, Warehousing, and Accounting) to maximize profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. + Partner with Market leadership to drive the execution of centrally lead initiatives to achieve strong performance as it pertains to sales, profitability and working capital goals. + Coordinate with the Director of EHS to ensure safe, clean, and sustainable operations. + Partner with Finance to develop the Operations budget and scorecard while holding teams accountable. + Partner with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development on succession planning & execution. + Lead through influence in a matrixed organization structure with indirect reporting relationships to initiate and drive consistency throughout the region. + Foster leadership development within the team to identify and develop future leaders. + Ensure compliance with all federal regulatory laws and requirements as they pertain to OSHA, DOT, FDA, etc. + Remain current with industry standards, trends, and practices. **_Requirements:_** + High school diploma required + 5+ years of prior operations management experience is required while a bachelor’s degree is preferred + Ability to travel throughout the region and markets regularly + Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and communicate with logic to make business decisions that will drive profitability + Willingness and ability to contribute to a positive work environment + Highly Proficient in Microsoft office + Ability to work independently and be held accountable for business results while remaining organized and detail oriented working in a fast paced environment + Candidate must reside in the Central region and fulfill office duties at a designated major hub or location. **So, what are you waiting for?
