What You'll Do:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Director for Europe, reporting to the Managing Director for Emerging EMEA. This role will lead a diverse team of over 60 talented professionals, driving the generation of new, sustainable business from medium to large prospects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the European market.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a multicultural team to achieve and exceed business development targets. Develop and execute a comprehensive new business strategy that aligns with Criteo’s vision and revenue goals. Set and achieve ambitious goals through disciplined execution, consistently exceeding revenue and growth targets. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, results-driven execution and inclusivity within the team. Continuously review and improve onboarding and training programs to ensure they are best-in-class, accelerating new hires' productivity and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing regular feedback and growth opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams (e.g., Go-to-Market, Marketing, People, Sales Strategy & Operations, Sales Excellence, Finance). Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies. Monitor and report on performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Who You Are:Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role. Proven success in generating new business and achieving sales targets. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading large, diverse teams. High flexibility and openness to change, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Proficiency in Salesforce and other business development tools. AI applied to Sales strategy a plus. Experience in the adtech industry is a plus, although not a prerequisite. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
