Senior Director, Enterprise FP&A and Reporting: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family  

The company's Enterprise financial planning and analysis team serves as the critical support partner for the executive leadership team. The team is responsible for the development and analysis of the enterprise financial plans and reports as well as setting the financial planning processes, tools and calendar for the company’s brands and businesses that span the globe. The Senior Director, Enterprise FP&A and Reporting will develop and analyze the consolidated annual budget, strategic plan, and monthly forecasts, and provide key insights and consultation to monthly operating results for VF. To succeed, this individual will utilize both relationship building with all key partners and strong analytical skill sets to provide standardized analytics, reports and key insights to support the VF senior leadership team, Board of Directors reviews and other Investor relations activities.

How You Will Make a Difference:  

Establish and a drive consistent forecasting and budgeting process, calendar and tools across all brands, regions and corporate functions.

Define and lead the BI and analytics strategy for VF, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals and strategic initiatives

Oversee the development and implementation of analytics tools, processes, and platforms to enhance data accessibility, visualization, and reporting capabilities across brands

Lead VF Corporation’s strategic plan and annual budget process across all brands, channels, and geographies.

Lead the monthly financial reviews with regional and brand finance management and develop the related financial presentation for VF Corporation’s Senior Leadership Team which includes a global view of opportunities and risks.  

Provide key insights, analytics, and consultation to senior leadership on VF Corporation’s actual and projected and actual financial performance.

Develop the financial presentation and support for the Board of Directors meetings and events.

Support Investor Relations organization with Analyst scripts, Press Releases, Q&A and Investor Day financial modeling and review all external financial releases and SEC filings

Manage compensation planning targets for VF Corporation, as well as all regional and brand level targets and calculations.  Partner with HR’s compensation team to ensure alignment on metrics and communication.

Support key strategic initiatives and ad hoc requests through data gathering, financial analysis and reporting.

Manage a team of six employees and assist in the development of department personnel through mentoring, teaching, support of department initiatives, and positive attitude.

Align the Enterprise FP&A and Reporting team around a shared vision of driving a high-quality, value-added work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and supportive environment.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 10+

Educational/Position Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.  MBA, CFA or CPA is a plus.

Strong financial background; exceptional analytical and modeling skills.

10+ years of financial management experience with thorough understanding of Corporate Finance or FP&A, Investment Banking or equity research.   

5+ years of people leadership experience

Fortune 500 publicly traded company experience in a matrix organization strongly preferred.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong Interpersonal capabilities with ability to effectively work across functions/brands and influence all levels of the organization

Financial and performance analysis experience & understanding of driver-based forecasting processes and tools

Strong financial modeling skills, especially income statement analysis

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Expertise in translating business needs into data strategies, financial models and BI solutions

Experience in leading change and strategic initiatives

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

Highly organized & achievement-oriented

Self-starter, able to handle multiple demands & competing priorities

Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills

Ability to effectively present findings to management in a clear and concise manner

Hiring Range:

$172,800.00 USD - $216,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.

Long-Term Incentive Potential: This position is eligible to participate in a Long-Term Incentive Plan. Specific details of the plan will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
