What is the opportunity?
This role is part of RBC’s Enterprise Strategy team – responsible for shaping, detailing and helping drive RBC’s strategic agenda -- working with the Board, Executive Management, Business lines and Functions. The person will be instrumental as a top tier, first principles problem solver, thought partner, and effective challenger. The role will report to the head of Enterprise Strategy Design and can be based in New York or Toronto.

Support the Board and Executive Management to formulate RBC’s Strategy with a Horizon 1/2/3 lensLead analysis and syndication of critical strategic topics and initiativesEstablish trusted relationships to effectively challenge and influence stakeholdersLead, inspire and develop internal team talentWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
8+ years experience in consulting / corporate strategy, including 4+ years at a Tier 1 management consulting firmExperience leading Strategy projects – framing, analysis, synthesis, project managementStrong interpersonal / stakeholder management skills across levels of the organizationStrong written and oral presentation skills and presenceStrong experience leading and developing talent towards above stated consulting / advisory toolkitStrong technical ability with PowerPoint and ExcelNice-to-have
Experience working in large, matrixed organizationsFinancial Services experienceMBAFor New York: The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $200,000-325,000 USD depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
